pressure vessel & heat exchanger design
Clients: Multiple including Refining NZ, Todd Energy, Shell, Methanex , Ballance, Z-Energy, Contact Energy, Origin, Viva Energy, Hexion, Aica.
DIALOG Fitzroy have substantial capabilities in the design and fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and have completed many projects for clients in New Zealand and Australia. We have significant long term contractual arrangements in New Zealand for this work and offer a few examples below.
Recently Refining NZ contracted DIALOG Fitzroy to carry out mechanical design and to fabricate a new Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) and Main Reaction Chamber (MRC). The WHB was designed to ASME Sec 1(Power Boiler) code and the MRC was designed to ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 (Pressure vessel code). The entire MRC and one of the tubesheets in the WHB have internal refractory lining. Both vessels were fabricated and welded together as a single unit at DIALOG Fitzroy’s workshop and delivered to Refinery NZ.
